Just wanted to drop in to let you know I’ve haven’t dropped off the face of the earth. That being said, I have to admit to an irrational fear of technology. With good reason. I swear the term “epic fail” was coined to describe this humble author’s experiences–and acumen–with anything related to the current technology that is such a huge part of everyday life. So, bear with me as I try to figure out how to effectively use the fabulous technical tools available to help me interact with you all, including a Facebook author page and Twitter account. Most of my focus this month will be on finishing the latest Calamity Jayne Mystery. With a proposed release date of April Fool’s Day–Tressa Jayne’s birthday–this story was originally supposed to be a novella. But, as so often happens with Tressa and yours truly, the narrative took on a life of its own and is now a full-length novel. I’m working on getting the cover ready so check back for the unveiling.
Other projects soon to follow include a western historical humorous romance (the first in a new series!), and a hard-boiled women’s fiction/police procedural, also slated to be the first in the series. Both projects are completed and in the editing phase.
A special “Killer Fiction” seasonal extravaganza is planned for this fall so stay tuned for details on this exciting project, as well.
And now, it’s back to business–funny business, I hope–and time to get back on the bike.
Chat soon!
